昼間は時間がなくて、エラーの原因を探れなかったんだが、

夜、改めてAppleのフォーラムを見ていたら、先にリンクしたフォーラムには続きがあって、どうやらその手順で対処できるらしい。

Topic : iTunes Error 42408 After 9.03 Upgrade

によると、

1. Eject and disconnect the iPod/iPhone from the computer.
2. Open iTunes.
3. Find a protected song from the iTunes Store (Kind = Protected AAC audio file) in your library.
4. Play the song.
5. Connect your iPod/iPhone.

Do you still get the error? If so, try these steps:

1. Carefully follow the steps in the “Remove the SC Info folder” section of this Knowledge Base document:http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389
2. Re-authorize your computer: Store menu > Authorize Computer…
3. Sync your iPod or iPhone.

iPodを繋げっぱなしにしてアップデートしたのがまずかったのかねぇ。
この手順を踏んでもエラーがでるなら、Appleにレポートしてくれってことか。

明日実際にやってみよう。

昼に描いた記事が夜にはトップかよ。それだけ日本語の情報が無いんだろうけど、俺と同じような症状の人が日本にも少なからず居るってことなんだろ。でも日本語で解決策を書いた個人のページより上位に表示されるってのは。。。
